| Northwest Personal Watercraft Safety Project In originated in 1995. More than 75 personal watercraft dealers in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho developed the Northwest Personal Watercraft Safety Project.The purpose of this grassroots campaign is to promote safe and responsible operation of PWC and safe boating education. More than 50 public safety agencies in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho are currently using loaned PWC from Safety Project dealers through the "Law Loan" program.
