1. Public Relations Counsel

DCI counselors work with organizations to ethically articulate a point-of-view, position and reputation -- nurturing relationships (including with the news media) that are mutually beneficial. Building ‘bridges’ of communication between organizations and their constituencies enables them to adapt to one another in meaningful ways. DCI Public Relations Counsel applies the essential functions of research, planning, communications dialogue and evaluation.
Pete DeLaunay received his accreditation (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in 1981. He has subsequently served on the board of the Puget Sound PRSA Chapter, and as President of the Seattle Advertising Federation. APR is a voluntary certification program for public relations professionals, PRSA, for professionals who must pass an extensive written and oral examination. He has provided public relations counsel to hundreds of executives and administrators.
