DeLaunay developed and managed the first Jeep 4X4 Sport Utility Challenge, in cooperation with the King County Sheriff’s Office and Issaquah Police Department.  The 4X4 Sport Utility Challenge educated 4X4 SUV owners about the capabilities of their vehicles, and how their SUB compared to Jeep vehicles  in an obstacle course to help foster safe and responsible use of 4X4 vehicles of slippery roadways.
